She has the Credit of leading Mangalore University Commerce Teachers Association (MUCTA) from 2014-2018. She has the distinct of obtaining Ph.D on Marketing of Rural Healthcare Programmes under the guidance of Hon. Prof. P.S Yadapadithaya, the present Vice Chancellor of Mangalore University.
